Lindfield to host the third Beer, Cider and Perry Festival
Lindfield’s Stand Up Inn will play host to Lindfield’s third beer, cider and perry festival next week.
Staged over the three days, Feb 23rd, 24th and 25th, visitors can enjoy some 30 different real ales as well as over 20 ciders and perries.
Nikki Whatford and Debbie West who jointly manage the Stand Up Inn for local brewer Dark Star, know the importance of the Festival to the pub and its drinkers. Nikki said: “Each year we strive to be bigger and better, trying to offer our customers more choice and bring in new beers, ciders and perries from around the country. Once again we have teamed up with Sussex cider producer, Middle Farm, who will be supplying 16 different ciders and perries – which I’m sure will be a real hit for our customers.” Nikki added: “Our customers are some of the most knowledgeable around when it comes to real ale, so visitors unfamiliar with beers are likely to be able to sample a wide range, as well as learn a bit about them if they choose to.”
Drinkers will be fortified with a range of pasties on sale over the weekend including: Steak and ‘Dark Star’ Ale, Pork and Black Rat Cider, Veggie and Stilton and the Steak, Chilli and Chocolate Pastie.
The festival will run from Friday 23rd Feb until and including Sunday 25th Feb.
